Another by-election success in Norfolk

News filtered through just before midnight confirming another Lib Dem by-election success in Norfolk, adding to the 2 gains that we had made elsewhere in the country that evening.
Karen Ward defended the seat 1st gained by Andrew Wells in 2015. Her main opponent had an interesting style of campaigning.
Glaven Valley (North Norfolk) result:
— Britain Elects (@BritainElects) September 29, 2016
LDEM: 55.3% (+8.4)
CON: 36.2% (+3.8)
UKIP: 4.1% (-6.8)
LAB: 3.0% (-2.8)
GRN: 1.4% (-2.5)
The team in Norwich had been calling voters on Thursday evening and were encouraged by the strong support for Karen that they heard when calling - something reflected in the result!
Calling to support by-elections will become a regular thing from the Douro Place office, so please pop along to our next session on 6 October at 5.30pm.
