Calls for dog waste bin in Strawberry Field & on Bluebell Road

Dog walkers using this walk have requested a bin to stop poo bags being dropped in the vegetation which is unsightly and unhealthy. Eaton Councillors have investigated and found that this is not Council land, but will try to get the provision of such a bin included in planning permission if and when the phase 3 development of the Bartram Mowers site is up for consideration. 

A request for a bin on Bluebell Road itself was turned down by the council citing inadequate resources. In the meantime a public spirited local dog walker volunteered to put up a sign requesting that dog owners take their poo bags home with them.
