Can you help us keep the UK in the EU?
With the local elections now firmly behind us, we are turning the focus of our campaigning towards ensuring that the UK remains in the European Union when we vote in the Referendum on June 23rd.
Last week Tim Farron made the positive, progressive, liberal case for Britain to remain within the European Union and I now need your help in order to put that case here in Norwich.
Are you able to do any of these 3 things to help us stay in the EU?
1. Speak directly with key voters
The best way to help convince people of the need to vote is to speak with them in person by knocking on their door. We now have data telling us which people we need to speak with across the city - all 16,000 of them.
Over the next week or so we have the following sessions planned, with more to follow. Check out http://norwichlibdems.org.uk/events to keep up to date.
- Tuesday 17th - meet at 6pm at the Unthank Arms, NR2 2DR (junction of Newmarket Street and Bury Street).
- Wednesday 18th - UEA campus (details TBC).
- Thursday 19th - meet at 6pm at the Belle Vue, NR2 3BL (junction of Stafford Street and St Phillips Road).
- Saturday 21st - meet at 10.30am at the Beehive, NR4 7PJ (junction of Leopold Road and Melrose Road).
- Monday 23rd - meet at 6pm at the Bracondale end of Corton Road.
- Wednesday 25th - meet at 6pm at 12 Branford Road, NR3 4QD.
2. Run a street stall
The Stronger In campaign have already had success running their own street stalls, and if you would like to organise a stall of your own, please do get in touch and we can provide all of the necessary materials. E-mail info@norwichlibdems.org.uk for more information.
3. Donate to the campaign
Can you make a donation to help fund the campaign of our lives? With your help we can buy the leaflets we need, pay for phone calls to key voters and use targeted social media to make sure that young people in particular vote on June 23rd.
