Dear Sirs,

Peter Prinsley (EDP letters page, 23/01/21) highlights the fact that Liberal Democrat councillors in Eaton are keeping residents informed through our publication.

However, he is mistaken about referring to the volunteers that delivered it. Since the start of the 'tier system', we have not asked our volunteers to deliver anything (can other political parties in the city say the same? I know that I have recently received Labour literature), and since Norwich entered tier four, and in line with government guidelines, we have been using commercial delivery services in Eaton and elsewhere, who are already making the trips to people's letterboxes.

Our headline story in the publication Mr Prinsley refers to was setting out the prominent issue of the Labour controlled city council's approach to Anglia Square. During the coming months we will continue to hold all levels of government to account safely and responsibly.

Regards

Cllr James Wright

On behalf of Eaton Lib Dem Councillors
