Enfield Road Playground to be upgraded
Dear Resident,
Norwich City Council is planning to upgrade the children’s playground on Enfield Road. The parks team will be replacing the equipment to make sure the playground is a safe, fun and accessible space for everyone to enjoy. The project will involve replacing the current equipment and flooring, and aims to create an inclusive, engaging and accessible space for children of all abilities.
They have invited three suppliers to share their design ideas, and are calling on public feedback to help them choose the best design and create a playground that meets the needs and preferences of the community. Feedback will be shared with the designers who will make changes to the layout, equipment and accessibility.
There has been a call put out for children, parents, grandparents and carers to get involved. This is your park so they want to know what local people would like to see included.
How to get involved:
Take the quick online survey: Share your preferences for design, play pieces and accessibility needs with Norwich city council by going to GetTalking.Norwich.Gov. UK/EnfieldPlayground.
Join the parks team at the playground: Meet representatives of Norwich City Council on Thursday 7th November from 1:30 – 4:30 PM to discuss your ideas.
You can share your thoughts until Sunday 10 November, when the survey will close.
This is an initiative from Norwich City Council which your local Lib Dem team is passing the details of onto you. Should you have any questions about the park or its upgrades, direct them to Norwich City Council.
