Late last night some great news came in from North Norfolk - Lib Dem candidate Saul Penfold had achieved a resounding victory in the Worstead by-election.

Worstead (North Norfolk) result:

LDEM: 72.7% (+39.4)
CON: 16.9% (-25.0)
LAB: 10.4% (-1.8)

Liberal Democrat GAIN from Conservative.

Activists from Norwich were delighted to have been able to help on the day, from early morning delivery of the 'good morning' leaflets through to making calls to voters from our Norwich office.

Many thanks to everyone who took part and this is certainly the boost we need as we go into the local elections this year.
